  1. Yes, LaMarcus Aldridge is a very interesting player indeed. He gave the Trail Blazers success back in the day, but the same could not be said for when he got the big bucks in San Antonio. I must point out though that he did NOT get traded to the Spurs. He signed with them as a free agent. I remember that vividly as a Miami Heat fan because Pat Riley almost persuaded him to sign with us when they had dinner together. We basically almost traded Chris Bosh to the Blazers for LaMarcus. My god if that happened! Very good post.

    • Yes, LaMarcus signed a big deal with the Spurs. It will be interesting to see how he does with this organization and if he can help bring success to this team.

  2. Todd Matthews

I’ve always been a fan of anyone wearing a San Antonio Spurs jersey. You can’t go wrong with anyone playing for the Spurs. Not only are they one of the most distinguished and successful NBA franchises, they have had successful and even future NBA Hall of Famers throughout the last two decades. Aldridge definitely fits the mold of some of the more notable Spurs of the previous two to two-and-a-half decades.

    • I agree, I think LaMarcus Aldridge fits right in. The San Antonio Spurs sure have had lots of success over the years and it seems like it will continue for that franchise!

  3. He was my brother’s favorite player when he was in Portland and I can get it as a present. But I want to know your opinion about something. My bro always said that he has the potential to become Final’s MVP. What is your take on that?

    • Yes I think Aldridge could be a Finals MVP for sure, the team he is on needs to make it to the Finals! A LaMarcus Aldridge jersey seems like it would be a great gift for your brother.
